Problem Note 56011: SAS® Episode Analytics 2.2.1 - Typical cost data is different between the Risk Analysis and MART tables

In SAS® Episode Analytics 2.2.1, there are recognized unmatched typical and complication cost differences between the SEA_RA_PREDCOST and SEA_MART_SERVICES tables. In one case, the difference is the result of an overwritten Risk Analysis flag. In the second case, the dropping of some services and claims resulted in those claims/services falling out of the model period for RA cost computations. Those claims and services remain however in the computation steps for the SEA MART services table.
For the first case, a solution to correct the overwritten flag has been provided. In the second case, although the SEA_MART_SERVICES table is intended to be independent from the Risk Analysis SEA_RA_PREDCOST table, sample code is available via Technical Support to illustrate how to logically compare cost data between the two tables.
